Tsom Kal !

This year, I'm fasting with ease!

Yom Kippur is an emotional day where your entire postural and cognitive system will be greatly stimulated. It is important to be well prepared in order to fully experience this day of kedusha and not to be physically disturbed (headaches, nausea, fatigue, dizziness, etc.)

Here are the advice of your Osteopath :

Prepare in advance :

From Rosh Hashanah: 1-Drink 2L of water every day; 2-Avoid fermented foods and alcohol; 3-Avoid foods that are too salty; 4-Gradually decrease the caffeine so that your body can "detoxify"; 5-Prepare your body : an osteopathic treatment will help you balance your body. Gentle and precise manipulations on the craniosacral axis will free the cranial sphere (your skull) which will allow you to avoid migraines and headaches, nausea, dizziness, etc ... as well as postural pain and joint pain .

The big day before the fast :

1-Drink throughout the day;

2-Avoid coffee;

3-Grandma's tip : eat white grapes and drink 9 drops of water. 😉

And if despite everything .....

Lie down quietly (if possible) and in a dark room. Put a pressure point between your eyes, and work your way up to the top of your head. At this level, maintain the pressure for 10 seconds and release slowly, then repeat this movement 5 times.

Then using your index finger, from the top of the head, go down to the temples and reproduce this diagram (the two photos) about ten times.

Tsom Kal.
